The website's main aim is to create a resource of visual and written work which addresses ethnicity, identity and cultural difference. Its purpose is to share multi-disciplinary research in the field of refugee studies. To create a resource of art and theory which explores issues of exile, memory, home and identity in the context of forced migration. The aim of the project is not only to create debate about issues of exile, but to create a forum for people to share their own expeinces of exile, through the experiences project.
