Inversions and Transferrals: The Para Site Fabricator.

Pauline de Souza is Senior Lecturer at the University of East London, she is Director of the African and Asian Visual Artists Archive housed at the university of East London. She writes regularly for Art History on contemporary art. Her currently she is organising a research project on digtal technolohgy and internet art with the University of Auckland, New Zealand which will take place in 2006. 

Pauline's essay examines the exhibtion Para Sites, an exhibtion on site, displacement and the "foreign body", curated by Brigid McLeer. The exhibtion took place at Bridport Arts Centre from 21st September- 16th october 2004. For further information on the show see www.bridport-art.com
