Writers Block

Taylor is a journalist based in London. She lived in Japan for 8 years, working on the news desk of The Japan Times, and travelling widely in the region, before returning to Britain in 1998. Since then, she has worked as a freelance journalist for publications such as The Guardian, The Big Issue, Time Out and Elle, as well as working in a full-time capacity on Time Out's website. Taylor specialises in writing on race and immigration issues and has just completed a chapter on multicultural London for the Time Out London Guide, 2002. She is also writing a novel set in Tokyo.

"Writers Block" is a piece which investigates Exile Writers Inc and was published in Time Out, June 2001.
