| Maya Kardum was born in Zagreb, Croatia and has been living in London for the last seven years. She is a photographer with a strong background in photojournalism. She began taking photographs during the war, not as a profession but as a way, somehow, of dealing with the hopeless situation that she and many other people were in. She has worked on the front lines with the RAI, the Italian State TV Network both as a photographer and news producer and has studied photography at The London College of Printing.
